Egypt is located in the northeastern corner of the African continent. It is definitely a place of culture and rich history. So what do I admire most about this place and their people? Personally, I admire that from them arose very powerful and influential women like Queen Hatshepsut and Cleopatra. Reading through Egyptian history, I admire that women were not regarded as just for "household" purposes alone. In the old days where women were used solely to care for the children or to keep the house intact, it was nice to see that the Egyptians seemed to treat their women with equality. I truly believe that a woman with enough willpower and determination can do a man's job and lead. Being a young and independent lady, it's very empowering to know that females before did so much and held so much power. It makes us ladies think that if they could take the lead, so could we.
